Start living the scene.
Build a repeatable approach to learning lines for self-tapes, auditions and rehearsals. Work with meaning, imagination, movement and recall, so preparation supports your performance instead of locking it into one delivery.
- Explore practical ways to learn and retrieve your lines.
- Connect the words to the circumstances of the scene.

Preparation should
free your instinct.
NeuroActing is the approach behind my teaching: bringing acting craft and the way we learn into practical rehearsal. The aim is not a perfect performance for one class. It is a process you can return to when the scene, the direction or the pressure changes.
Understand the scene
Look beyond the words. Work with circumstances, relationships and what your character wants from the other person.
Rehearse actively
Try the work, receive feedback and make an adjustment. Find a preparation process you can use again.
Stay available
Give yourself room to listen and respond. Secure preparation should support a living performance, not replace it.

Your teacher · Paul Moore
From the set
to the rehearsal room.
I am an actor, filmmaker and educator, and I founded Moore Acting Instinct in 2015. My screen work includes Wes Fitzpatrick in Winners & Losers, and Shaun and executive producer on Rostered On.
That experience shapes how I teach: with practical work, direct feedback and attention to the person in front of me. Actors learn differently. The job is to help you build a process you understand and can put to use.
